Sidhuva Xray Clinic

If you're looking for us, we are up on the 4th floor of the Thomas Cook Building. It’s located on D M Road, right in the Churchgate area. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a break from the street noise, though you can still hear the city if the windows are open. The lift in this building is one of those older ones that takes its time. Once you get inside the clinic, it's mostly just the X-ray equipment and the darkroom setup. We spend a lot of our day in the dim light looking at films or screens. Churchgate is such a crowded part of town, so we see all kinds of people coming in for their scans. The office is a bit small, but we’ve organized it so everything fits. We have a small desk where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs. It’s just a place where we do X-rays. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are clean enough for now. We mostly just talk about the weather or the local train schedules with the patients while they wait. It’s a simple operation we run here. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, so the security guards downstairs know us well. It’s just our daily routine in a busy part of Mumbai. We hope the lift doesn't break down, but it usually works okay and gets everyone up here eventually.
