Blue Cross Pathological Lab

We have been running this lab for quite some time, with one spot on Peddar Road and another over on Old Nagardas Road. It’s a path lab, so our days are filled with needles, glass slides, and a lot of blood samples. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People come in early in the morning, usually before they’ve had breakfast, and they’re often a bit cranky or worried about their health. We just try to get the samples taken quickly so they can go about their day. Then we spend the rest of our time running the tests. We aren't a giant hospital, just a local lab where people can get their reports without too much fuss. Sometimes the machines act up or the power goes out, and we have to scramble to keep everything on track. It’s a small team here, mostly just us and a couple of technicians. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a big waiting room. It’s mostly just the equipment and the desks for the paperwork. We spend a lot of time looking at numbers and making sure everything is written down correctly. It’s routine work, but it matters to the people who are waiting for their results. We just try to be careful and get things done right the first time so nobody has to come back twice.
