Siddhivinayak Lime Depot

Siddhivinayak Lime Depot has been sitting here at shops 7 and 8 on Tardeo Road for a good while. We are right near where the Ganga Jamuna Theatre is, so it's a spot most people in Tardeo know well. We mostly deal with lime and related materials that people need for building or white-washing. It is a dusty job, and our hands are usually covered in white by the end of the shift. We aren't fancy people. We just open up the shop in the morning and wait for the regular contractors or locals to drop by. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Tardeo Road. Other days, we are loading up bags non-stop. We have the two shops next to each other to keep enough stock. It's a straightforward way to make a living. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't need. If you need lime, you come here, and we weigh it out for you. The theatre nearby is a good landmark if you get lost looking for us. Living and working in this part of town means we see a lot of the same faces every week. We like it that way. It's a bit noisy with the cars and the crowds, but that is just Tardeo for you. We just keep the doors open and do our bit every day.
