Our college is on B J Patel Road in Malad West, Mumbai 400064. It’s specifically for women, and we offer courses in arts and commerce. If you know Malad, you know how busy it gets, especially near the station area. The college is a bit of a walk from there, but there are always rickshaws buzzing around. The building itself is quite standard for Mumbai—vertical and compact. We have several floors with classrooms and a small library. It gets very crowded in the mornings when the girls arrive for their first lectures. The noise of the city is always there in the background, but we’re used to it. The staff in the office has been there for a long time, handling admissions and exams for thousands of students. Mumbai rain is a big part of our life here; sometimes the ground floor gets a bit damp during July, but we keep things going. It’s a place where girls from different backgrounds come to get their degrees. We don't have a big campus with gardens, but there is a common area where students hang out between classes. It’s a practical, no-nonsense college. We just focus on the syllabus and getting the exams done on time. It is a familiar landmark for people living around B J Patel Road for many years.
