Shri Bal Chikitsalaya

Shri Bal Chikitsalaya is over in Bhandup West. You can find us at 14-a in the Miniland area on Tank Road. Bhandup is a very busy, lived-in part of the city. Tank Road can be quite a challenge to navigate with all the vendors and people walking around. Our clinic is focused on kids, so there’s usually a lot of noise. You’ll hear children crying or playing while they wait to see the doctor. We’ve tried to make the place a bit friendly with some stickers on the walls, but it’s still a medical clinic at the end of the day. The space is a bit small. We have to be very organized with our files and appointments. The furniture is a bit old, and the chairs are the simple plastic kind. It’s a very local place. Most of our patients live within walking distance in Bhandup. We know the families well. Sometimes the parents bring in their kids, and we remember when those parents were children themselves. It’s a tight-knit community. The smell of the nearby markets often drifts in through the door. We don't have air conditioning in the waiting area, just some strong ceiling fans that keep the air moving. It’s a practical, down-to-earth spot. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything. It’s a lot of work, but we like being here in Miniland.
