Shreeknat Dateer

I’ve been at 21 Dadar Bapu Nagar for quite a while now. The Hasanli Building is one of those old spots where everyone knows each other’s business. Most days it’s just me here, dealing with whatever comes through the door. Shreeknat Dateer isn't some fancy corporate thing. It’s just how we do things here in this part of Mumbai. The traffic outside can get really loud in the afternoons, especially when the markets are in full swing. Sometimes the lights flicker but we just carry on. People stop by to talk, sometimes they actually need work done, and other times they just want to hide from the sun for a bit. My desk is always a mess with papers and old receipts. I keep meaning to tidy up the back room but there’s never enough time. Life in Bapu Nagar has a rhythm to it. You get used to the smell of tea from the corner stall and the sound of bells from the temple nearby. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the address and a door that’s usually open. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too special to look at, but it’s home for the business. I try to stay organized but things happen. If you ever find yourself near the building, you'll see how busy it gets around here. Just look for the old entrance. That’s pretty much us in a nutshell.
