Shreeji Gift House

Shreeji Gift House is located at 68 Bombay Timber Market. We are on Signal Hill Avenue, right near Bara Imam Road. It is a very industrial area with lots of trucks moving wood around all day. Because of that, it gets pretty noisy outside our door. Our shop is one of the few places around here that sells things like gifts and household items. We have been in this spot for a long time. The interior of the shop is simple. We have metal shelves lining the walls and a heavy wooden counter where we sit. The air usually smells a bit like sawdust from the timber market nearby. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because the dust from the road is constant. It is a family business. My brother and I take turns being here. We don't have any corporate rules or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops stop by just to chat for a bit. Being at 68 Bombay Timber Market is interesting. You see a lot of hard-working people every day. Signal Hill Avenue can be a mess during the monsoon, but we stay open anyway. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters and see who needs a gift that day. It's a plain, honest business on Bara Imam Road. It's nothing special to look at, but it's our life.
