Our shop is right in the middle of the Main Bazar in Jogeshwari. It is a very crowded area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We deal in all kinds of novelty items, from keychains to small kitchen gadgets and decorative pieces. The shop is quite packed, and we have items hanging from the ceiling to make more room. It can get very hot inside during the summer months because there isn't much ventilation in the bazar. We usually have a radio playing in the background to pass the time when it’s slow. We don't have a big fancy storefront; it’s just a regular shutter that we open every morning. Most of our stock comes from local suppliers, so we have a bit of everything. We spend time talking to the other shopkeepers on the street while we wait for customers. It’s a friendly atmosphere despite the chaos of the market. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. People come in, look around, and buy what they like. We try to keep the prices low because that’s what people expect in the Main Bazar. Sometimes we have to clean the floor several times a day because of all the mud people bring in from the street. It’s just how it is in Jogeshwari, and we are happy to be here.
