Shree Mauli Upchar Kendra

Our little place, Shree Mauli Upchar Kendra, is tucked into Shop No.3 inside the Daxta Police Society. It's in Ramabai Nagar, which is a part of Ghatkopar East that usually has people walking around all the time. Since we are in a police society, it feels safe and everyone around here knows each other. It’s not a huge space, just enough for what we need to help people who come in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but for now, they are fine. We mostly see neighbors and folks from the nearby buildings who need some care or a quick check-up. Usually, we open up early because that’s when people want to visit before they head off to their jobs or the market. Being in Shop No.3 means we see everything happening on the street, kids playing or people heading to the station. We keep things simple here without any complicated forms or long waits if we can help it. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over snacks and we sit for a minute, but mostly we are busy attending to whoever walked in through the door. It’s a local spot, nothing like those big corporate hospitals you see in the city center. We just stay focused on the work at hand in Ramabai Nagar and try to be helpful to the community we live in ourselves. It’s a good life here in Ghatkopar, even when it gets a bit noisy.
