Shivam Sport

Shivam Sport is located at No. 10 in the Sonal Link Residency on New Link Road. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Uncle Kitchen Hotel in Malad West, near Mith Chowky. It’s a good little spot because there are always people walking around and plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby. We have all sorts of sports gear crammed into the shop. You’ll see cricket bats leaning against the walls and footballs stacked up in the corners. It’s a bit crowded, but that’s how a sports shop should be, I think. We get a lot of kids from the neighborhood coming in after school to look at the gear or buy a new ball because they lost their old one over a fence. It’s nice to see them get excited about playing. The staff here is mostly just a few guys who like sports themselves. We spend the day re-stringing rackets or showing someone the difference between two types of pads. It’s not a high-pressure environment. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the latest matches while we wait for customers. We have been in Malad for a while now and most of the regulars know us by name. We don't really do anything fancy to get people in the door. We just open up, put the displays out on the sidewalk, and see who stops by today. It is a decent way to earn a living doing something we actually understand.
