Shree Ganesh Pathology Lab

We have been running Shree Ganesh Pathology Lab out of the Urmila Complex for quite a few years now. If you are looking for us, we are at shop number 6, which is pretty close to the ICICI Bank here in Chembur. It is a busy little corner of the world. Every morning starts the same way, with us unlocking the shutters and getting the equipment ready before the first people show up. Usually, the early crowd is people on their way to the office who need to get their blood drawn quickly. We try to be fast, but sometimes there is a bit of a wait if many people arrive at once. The lab isn't very big, and we don't have any fancy waiting rooms with television or anything like that. It is just a few chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. We spend most of our day processing samples and making sure the names and numbers on the files match up correctly. It can be tedious work, but it is important to get it right. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from around the D K Sandumar area. We know many of them by their first names after all this time. We don't really spend money on ads or flyers; people just know the sign outside. It’s a very simple, local operation where we just focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes the printer acts up or the phone rings too much, but we manage to get through the day.
