Shree Bhagya Laxmi Traders

Our shop is right there on Trimbak Parshuram Street, just across from where Alankar Theater used to be. It’s 5, 6th Kumbhar Wada, right in the thick of things at Grant Road. It’s a crowded area, always something going on outside the door. Shree Bhagya Laxmi Traders is mostly just us moving stuff around and talking to people who stop by. We open up early because that’s when the street starts moving. There isn't a lot of extra space inside, so we keep things organized the best we can. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic, but that’s part of the job. We have been in this spot for quite a bit. You get used to the noise and the way the sun hits the front of the store in the afternoon. Most of the people who come in are regulars who know exactly where to find what they need. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name and the address. It’s a practical way to run things. If the weather is bad, we move things inside quickly. If it’s hot, we keep the fan going. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a trading business run by people who live nearby and understand the neighborhood. We keep the books tidy and make sure everything is where it should be before closing up for the night.
