Shivaraj Traders

Shivaraj Traders is tucked away in the Shanti-Swaroop Building on Ranade Road. Most people find us because we're right across from Ovenfresh, which usually smells a lot better than our shop does. Dadar West is always crowded, so getting things in and out through the traffic can be a real headache. We’ve been at 67-A for a long time. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly boxes and ledgers piled up on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to check on their orders. It’s a small space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when three or four customers come in at once. We keep things pretty simple here. There's no fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and whatever stock we have on hand that day. Being in Dadar means there's always noise from the street outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle all sorts of trading stuff, whatever people in the area are looking for. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see the same faces every time you stop by. We just try to get the work done and get home before the train rush starts. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, but that’s just the nature of trading in a busy city like this.
