Shankeshwar Gift

We’ve been here at Shop No 103 in the Super Shopping Co building for a while now. If you know the Masjid Bunder West area, you know how busy it gets, especially being right opposite the Juma Masjid. It is a crowded spot but that is just how it is around here. We mostly spend our days sorting through the shelves and making sure everything is where it should be. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of items into the space. Most people who come in are just locals or folks passing through the market looking for a quick gift. We don't really do much fancy advertising or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to drop by. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise and the lighting could be brighter, but it works for us. Living and working in this part of town means you get used to the noise of the traffic and the people outside. It is a practical place. We keep track of things in a ledger and try to keep the dust off the boxes as much as we can. It is just a normal shop doing normal things every day. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the masjid stays the same and so does our spot in the building. Nothing too special, just Shankeshwar Gift and the daily routine.
