Ravi Technologies

Ravi Technologies is based out of Sewri, over at No. 2/B in the Irani Chawl. We are right by Gate No. 6 on Sewri Cross Road. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in the buildings. Working in a chawl is different from being in a modern office tower. The walls are thick, and you can hear your neighbors, but there’s a real sense of being in the middle of things. We focus on technology work here, which might seem strange given the old-fashioned setting, but it works for us. We have our computers and equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have. Finding Gate No. 6 is the key to getting here. The Cross Road can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around Sewri. We spend our days troubleshooting and working on various tech projects. It’s quiet work most of the time, punctuated by the sounds of the street outside. We aren't a big company with a HR department or anything. It’s just a few of us doing what we know how to do. We like the area because it’s authentic and hasn't changed as much as the rest of Mumbai. People who come to see us usually appreciate that we are just regular folks. We keep the place running six days a week and try to stay on top of the work as it comes in.
