Being based in Juhu is a bit of a different experience than working in other parts of the city. Seediff Softsolutions (india) Pvt Ltd has been operating out of here for a good while now. It’s not all beaches and fancy houses where we are situated; for us, it’s mostly just the daily grind of software work. We spend the bulk of our time looking at code and trying to make various systems work better for our clients. The team is a mix of people who have been in the industry for years and some newer faces. We don’t really go for the corporate lifestyle or the fancy office perks. Our office feels more like a lived-in workshop than a boardroom. There’s always someone complaining about the coffee being too cold or talking about the long commute through the Juhu traffic. It can be a real nightmare getting in and out of this area sometimes, especially during the monsoon when it rains heavily. We do a lot of internal software stuff that isn't really visible to people on the outside. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and building things from the ground up. We don't have a big sign outside the door or anything like that. Most people find us because they have a specific problem they need help with. It’s usually quiet inside, mostly just the rhythmic sound of typing and the hum of the air conditioner. We keep our heads down and get the job done. It’s a practical life for us.
