Up here on the 6th floor of Malkhani Center, things stay pretty busy throughout the week. Bandra West is a crowded area, so getting into the office in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the street traffic. We’ve been operating from this building for some time. It’s a typical office space with desks, some filing cabinets, and people constantly on the phone or checking emails. We deal with international stuff, which means we are often working around different time zones. Sometimes the office is quiet when we’re just doing paperwork, and other times it’s a bit chaotic when several things are happening at once. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that; it’s just a place where we come to work and handle our business. The lift in this building can be slow sometimes, which is a bit of a pain when you’re in a rush. Most of us have been here a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well, like where to grab a quick tea or a bite during the lunch break. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just handle the logistics and the coordination that comes with being an international company. It’s mostly about making sure the documents are right and the shipments are moving. It’s a steady routine of calls, spreadsheets, and making sure everything is lined up correctly. The view from the sixth floor is alright, but mostly we are just focused on the work.
