Santya Auto Works

Our garage, Santya Auto Works, sits right on the Mulund Goregaon Link Road. We are in Mulund West, almost exactly opposite Fortis Hospital. It's a busy stretch of road, so there are always cars passing by. We’ve been fixing vehicles here for a long time. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and there are tools scattered around the workbenches. We don't mind the mess much because it means we are working. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof in the summer, but we keep the fans going. People bring their cars in for all sorts of reasons, sometimes just a strange noise or a dent. We take a look and see what can be done. We aren't a big dealership with a shiny waiting room. Most people just stand around and chat with us while we work or go grab a tea nearby. We like the hands-on nature of the job. There is a certain satisfaction in hearing an engine run smoothly after it's been acting up. We know the folks in Mulund pretty well by now. It’s a good community to be part of. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work on whatever is parked out front. It is simple, honest work and it keeps us on our toes for the whole day.
