Sanjayvarik

Sanjayvarik is tucked away in Sunflower Laundry Lane, over in Santacruz West. We are in Ratnabai Chawl, specifically near Gazdhar Bandh. If you’ve been to Mumbai-54, you know it’s a maze of small lanes and busy people. Our space is modest, just like the rest of the neighborhood. We share the area with all sorts of small businesses and families. It gets pretty loud during the day with the laundry work nearby and the traffic from the main roads. We’ve been here for years, and the walls have seen a lot of work. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just us sitting in a small room getting things done. We don't have a website with fancy photos. We just have our names and this address. Sometimes the rain floods the lane a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s part of living in this part of town. We know most of the people on the street by now. We don't need a lot of space to do what we do. It’s practical and it’s home for us. We don't put on any acts. What you see is what you get when you come to Ratnabai Chawl. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that make a lot of noise. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which can be annoying but also makes you feel safe.
