My place is located at 104 in Rajrudram Apartment, which sits on Dr Annie Besant Road in Goregaon East. It’s a decent area, though the road can get pretty jammed up during the evening rush hour. I’ve been based in this apartment for a while now, and it’s a very straightforward setup. I use one of the rooms as my main workspace. It’s got everything I need—a desk, a computer that’s seen better days, and a couple of chairs for whoever stops by. I don’t have a big staff or a reception desk. It’s usually just me handling things as they come in. The windows look out over the street, so I spend a fair amount of time watching the world go by when I’m thinking about a project. Goregaon has grown so much lately, but this little corner feels mostly the same as it always was. I try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary complications. Most of my day involves answering emails, making calls, and sometimes meeting people in the lobby if the office feels too cramped. I’m not interested in being the biggest name in town; I just want to do my job and go home at a reasonable hour. The rainy season is always interesting here, as the water tends to pool up near the entrance, but we manage just fine. It’s just a regular local business run by a regular guy.
