Sangeetapeswani

This is Sangeetapeswani. My workspace is tucked away in Andheri West, right in the middle of all the noise and energy of Mumbai. Specifically, I’m at 207/44B in the Paramount building on Cross Road 1. It’s part of Swami Sath Nagar, which is near Four Bunglows. If you know Andheri, you know how hectic Four Bunglows can get, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or heading home. My place is a bit of a sanctuary from all that. It’s not some big polished corporate suite. It’s a small, functional room where I keep my files and do my daily chores. I’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors in the Paramount building are all quite nice. We mostly keep to ourselves but say hello in the hallway. Being on Cross Road 1 is handy because everything is close by, but it can be a bit of a struggle to find parking if you’re visiting. I don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people. It’s just me, Sangeetapeswani, making sure things are handled properly. I like the independence of working like this. The walls are a bit thin, so I hear the city outside all the time, but that’s just Mumbai for you. It’s a real place with real dust on the shelves and a lot of work getting done every single day without any fancy labels.
