Our office for S&L India It Consulting Services Private Limited is located in the MIG Colony at Adarsh Nagar. It’s a residential area in Worli, so it’s got a different feel compared to the big glass office towers you see in other parts of Mumbai. We are in A64/1495. It’s basically an apartment that we turned into a workspace. It’s nice because the street has some trees and it isn't as loud as the main roads. We do IT consulting, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and sitting in front of laptops. We started this because we had some experience in the field and wanted to do our own thing. The team is quite small, just a handful of us who have known each other for years. We don’t have any corporate policies about what you have to wear, so it’s pretty casual. Usually, there’s a mess of chargers and notebooks on the main table. During the monsoon, the walls get a bit damp, but that’s just how it is in Mumbai. We usually get tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. People who need us usually have our number already. We just focus on the projects we have and try to keep things moving. It's a quiet way to run a consulting business in a busy city.
