Sanayameshram

This is Sanayameshram and I am located at 6/16 in the Government Officers Quarters at Haji Ali. It is a very famous part of Mumbai because of the sea and the traffic that never seems to stop. The quarters here are old style with high ceilings and thick walls which helps keep the place cool during the summer. I’ve been working from this address for a while now and I’ve gotten used to the sound of the waves and the cars. My workspace isn't very modern. I have an old wooden table and some cupboards that are full of documents. I don't really have a big team of people. It’s mostly just me and sometimes a helper who comes in for a few hours. People often get confused finding the right block because all the buildings look the same, so I usually have to tell them to look for the big tree near the entrance. I don't do any marketing or post anything on the internet to get work. It just comes to me through people I know. I like the routine of coming here every morning and seeing the same security guards and neighbors. It feels stable. I don't have any plans to move to a fancy glass office in the suburbs. This place has a lot of history and I feel comfortable here. I just do what I can and try to keep things moving along slowly but surely.
