Samra Gift Shop

We are located in the New Nagari Building on the main road in Santacruz West. It’s a 2/A address, easy to spot if you are looking. The shop isn't very wide, but it goes back quite a bit. We sell things like watches, ladies' purses, and some children's toys. Since we are on the main road, it’s always loud with traffic and people shouting outside. We keep the glass doors shut to keep some of the smoke and noise out. Most of our customers are locals who are looking for a birthday present or something for a housewarming. We don't have a lot of space for big displays, so we use the walls to hang things up. The lighting is a bit yellow, which gives the place a warm feel even if it’s not intentional. We spend a lot of our time gift wrapping. We aren't the fastest at it, but we make sure the tape stays on. Sometimes we have to move the boxes around to find a specific item a customer saw weeks ago. It’s a bit of a jumble sometimes, but we know where the most popular things are. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We just provide a simple service to the people living around Santacruz. It’s a decent place to work every day.
