Sameer Mohite

I've been in Ghatkopar East for as long as I can remember. It's a crowded part of Mumbai, but it has everything you need within a five-minute walk. My name is Sameer Mohite and this is where I run my operations. I don't have a grand office building with a name on top. Mostly, I work from a small space that's tucked between residential buildings. The sounds of the city are always there—the trains, the honking, and the street vendors. It’s an energetic place to be. I started out small and stayed that way because I like being able to handle everything myself. People around here know me as someone who just gets on with it. I don't spend time on marketing or trying to look bigger than I am. If you need to find me, you just head into Ghatkopar East and ask around or look for my address. My day starts early with a cutting chai from the corner and ends whenever the work is done. It’s a simple life, really. My desk is a mess of notebooks and old pens, but I know where everything is. I don't think you need a polished image to do a good job. You just need to show up every day and do what's required. That's how things work in this part of town. It gets pretty hot in the summer, and the fan in my office makes a bit of a clicking sound, but you stop noticing it after a while.
