Sakthi Coirs

Sakthi Coirs is over in Sion Koliwada. We are set up in KGN Towers, which is part of the Mhada building complex. Our unit is C-7. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people coming and going all the time. Being in Sion means we are right in the middle of things, which helps with moving our products around. The space we have is pretty functional. It’s mostly used for storing some samples and keeping our records straight. We deal with coir products, so there is usually a bit of fiber and dust around the place, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the business. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in the middle of a conversation or checking some stock. We started this because we knew the trade well and wanted to have our own small place. It hasn’t always been easy, especially with the competition around, but we keep at it. The building itself is a standard Mhada structure, nothing special to look at, but it serves us well. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do and the people who have known us for years. It’s a simple life, working day in and day out in Sion, and we are okay with that. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and keeping the deliveries on track.
