Sainath Novelty

Sainath Novelty is situated at unit 24 in the Municipal Industrial Estate in Oshiwara. We are right opposite the Mega Mall, which is a bit funny because our building is much older and looks very different from the shiny glass of the mall. The industrial estate has a lot of character, with trucks loading and unloading all day and the smell of grease and metal in the air. Our shop is a practical space where we store our goods and manage the daily paperwork. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, and the metal shutters are heavy to lift in the morning. We don't get many casual shoppers because most people are heading to the mall, but the people who do come to us know exactly what they are looking for. It gets quite hot in the afternoon because the roof is low, so we usually keep the door wide open to catch any breeze. There is a small canteen nearby that serves the best tea in the estate, and that is usually our midday break. Working in an industrial area means there is always something happening, whether it is a delivery arriving or someone fixing a machine nearby. We just stay in our lane and keep the business running as best as we can. It is a gritty, honest place to work and we have been here for years.
