Sai Dhatrak

Sai Dhatrak is the name on the door here. We are based in Mumbai, specifically in the Mumbai Central area which is always humming with energy. Our specific spot is Room No. 1 in Building No. 26. We are on the 7th Lane of S P Road in Nagpada. If you know Nagpada, you know the streets are narrow and full of life at every hour. It’s a very traditional Mumbai neighborhood. Our building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of history. Being in Room No. 1 on the ground floor makes it easy because nobody has to wait for a slow lift or climb too many stairs. S P Road is usually packed with vehicles and people moving goods back and forth. It’s a real working-class vibe around here. Inside the room, it’s quite small but we make it work. Everything has its place because space is tight in this part of the city. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s just a basic room where we do our business. The walls are a bit worn and the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but it’s home for us during the workday. Most of the people on 7th Lane know us by now. It’s the kind of place where you hear the sounds of the street all day long, from horns to people shouting. It is busy but it is our home.
