Sagar Plastic & Stationery

Down here at 104/108 Fort, things stay pretty busy. We are Sagar Plastic & Stationery. The shop is filled with pens, notebooks, and those plastic containers everyone uses for lunch or storage. Fort is a crowded area, so we get a lot of office workers coming in during their break. They usually need a file folder or a specific kind of blue pen. We try to keep the shelves organized, but with so many small items, it gets messy by the afternoon. We spend a lot of time counting out loose papers or finding that one stapler someone saw in the window. The lighting isn't the best in the back, so we have to use a torch sometimes to find the older stock. It’s a family-run kind of place. My uncle sits at the counter mostly, and I handle the heavy lifting. We have those big plastic buckets stacked outside the door when it's not raining. Inside, it smells like new paper and plastic. It’s a narrow shop, so you have to squeeze past people sometimes. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. If you need a compass box for school or a stack of envelopes for the office, we probably have it tucked away somewhere. We just open up early and close when the street gets quiet. It’s just how we do things every day.
