Saantech Micro System

Saantech Micro System is based at C-6 in the Parel Tata Mill Compound. This area has a lot of history, and the compound itself feels like it’s seen a lot over the years. Our part of it is simple and filled with tiny components. We work on small electronics and systems that require a lot of focus and steady hands. The ceilings are high like you’d expect in an old mill building, but we’ve put in good lighting because the work is so detailed. It can be a bit damp in the monsoon, but we keep the equipment protected. There are other businesses around us in the compound, so there’s always some activity going on outside. We usually start early before it gets too hot. Most of our day is spent bent over workbenches with magnifying glasses. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the challenge of figuring out why something isn't working. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big meetings. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes we walk over to the local stalls for a quick snack. It’s a hardworking atmosphere here in Parel. We’ve got our routine down and we don’t see a reason to change it. It’s just us, our tools, and the old walls of the Tata Mill Compound.
