Located at 9/102 in Maratha Colony, our office is right opposite the Western Express Highway in Santacruz East, Mumbai. Being so close to the highway means it is always noisy outside with the cars and trucks rushing by, but you get used to it after a week. Our specific team is deputed at Siemens, so we have a lot of coordination to do between our office and theirs. The space in Maratha Colony is a typical Mumbai office—functional and a bit tight on room. We have our computers lined up and some whiteboards that are mostly covered in old notes we haven't erased yet. It gets quite humid here, so we rely heavily on the fans. Getting to work is a bit of a struggle for some of us because of the Mumbai traffic, but that is just part of living here. We don't have any fancy lounge areas or ping-pong tables. We just have our workstations and a small area where we eat our lunch. Most of our day is spent handling tech and info tasks. We have a lot of conversations about projects and deadlines. It’s a fast-paced environment because of the highway energy right outside the door. We try to stay organized, but with so many things happening at once, the desks usually stay a bit messy. It is a real Mumbai office life, focused on getting the job done without much fuss.
