S S T L

We’ve been over here at Matunga Kajupada for a good stretch of time now. It’s a busy spot in Shri Krishna Nagar, specifically at 246/C if you're looking for the door. Most people around here just know us as S S T L. It isn't a fancy place with big signs or anything. We mostly keep to ourselves and do the work that comes our way. The morning usually starts with opening up the shutters and letting the dust settle. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the tasks. It’s not always easy keeping things organized in a small space, but we manage. You see the same faces walking by every day, and sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask a quick question. We don’t really do much advertising because people just find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby. There’s a specific way the sun hits the front window in the afternoon that makes it hard to see the computer screen sometimes. We just pull the old curtain and keep going. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever paperwork or small jobs come through. Some days are faster than others. When the monsoon hits, the rain drums on the roof so loud you can’t hear the phone ring. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it’s home now. Nothing special, just us doing what we do.
