S. S. E.

S. S. E. is tucked away in Rabale Midc at R/565. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and workshops. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the trucks moving in and out of the narrow lanes. We’ve been here for a while, and the walls show it. There’s usually some grease on the tables and a lot of tools lying around where someone just put them down. We don't spend much time cleaning up for visitors because there aren't many. Mostly just suppliers and the guys working here. It’s a practical space. We drink tea in the afternoons when the heat gets to be too much and the machines are humming. We aren't trying to change the world; we just have orders to fill and deadlines that sometimes get tight. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't bad. You might see us standing outside the gate during lunch breaks just catching some air and watching the traffic. It’s not a polished corporate office. The phone rings, we answer it, and we get back to the machines. That’s the rhythm of the place. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them ourselves before the day ends. It’s just how it goes in an industrial zone like Rabale. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. It’s honest work, and we don't feel the need to dress it up with big words.
