S P Jain Institute Of Marketing & Research has this specific spot at Flat No 9 in Uma Kunj. It’s located just off J.P. Road in the 4-Bungalows area of Mumbai. This isn’t the big main campus you might see in brochures, but more of a quiet administrative or specialized space. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment converted for our use, so it feels very much like a home. There are bookshelves lining the walls and a few desks squeezed into the rooms. We don’t have a lot of space for big crowds here. It’s mostly just a few of us handling specific tasks or going through research papers. Being in 4-Bungalows is great because there are plenty of places to eat nearby, though the traffic on J.P. Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. We don’t have any big signs out front or fancy lighting. It’s just a regular flat where we get our work done. Sometimes it’s very quiet, and other times we’re all rushing to meet a deadline. We don't put on any acts for visitors. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our regular clothes, surrounded by piles of documents and the smell of coffee. It’s a very practical environment without any of the corporate polish you might find in a downtown office building. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home like everyone else at the end of the day when the work is finally finished.
