S M Telecom

If you are walking down Hanuman Tekdi Road in Santacruz East, you will find our shop right near the Khar Subway. S M Telecom has been in this spot for a while now. It gets pretty loud here with the traffic and people coming from the station, but we like the energy. Most days, we are just busy fixing screens or helping folks get their new SIM cards sorted out. We don’t have a big fancy showroom, just a small space packed with chargers, cables, and phone cases. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and we have a chat while waiting for a repair to finish. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the new mobile models that come out every month. People come in with broken charging ports or phones that fell in water, and we see what we can do. We usually have some second-hand phones sitting in the glass case too. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to keep the neighborhood connected. The shop opens around ten in the morning, and we stay open until the market starts to quiet down late at night. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but there’s always another phone to look at first. It’s just how things go at S M Telecom. We know the regulars by name and what kind of plan they like for their recharges.
