Down here in Idukki, our place is called Karackal House in Vellayamkudy. We’re in Kattappana, which is a nice part of Kerala. This is where we do our diagnostic work. It isn't a huge hospital or anything, just a focused spot for testing and checking things out. The roads around here can be a bit winding, but people find their way to us. We’ve been part of the community for a while. We don't have a lot of glossy brochures. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. The rain in Kerala can get quite heavy, so sometimes things slow down, but we stay open. We deal with various health checks and lab work. It's a quiet operation. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just diagnostics. We have our equipment and we keep it running. Most of the folks who come in are locals from around Vellayamkudy or the nearby villages. We know a lot of the families around here. It’s a practical setup, meant to serve the needs of the people in the district. We’re just regular staff doing our jobs day by day. You can find us at the P.O. address if you’re looking. It’s a peaceful area and we try to keep the atmosphere inside calm too. We aren't trying to rush anyone. We just take the samples and get the results ready. That's the way it is.
