Rudra Insecticide is located out in Wada, which is near Bhiwandi. It is quite a distance from the main city rush, and the air feels a lot more open out here. We deal with insecticides, so having a bit more space is helpful for our operations. The road leading to our place can get quite bumpy, especially after the heavy monsoon rains we get in this region. You see a lot of large trucks and tankers passing through on their way to the highway. Our workday usually starts early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We spend a lot of our time checking labels and ensuring that all the drums are sealed properly for transport. It is often dusty work. There are not many shops or restaurants right nearby, so most of us bring our own lunch or get something from the small local vendors. We do not have a marketing department or a sales team in suits. Most of the people we work with have known us for years through word of mouth. It is a quiet existence compared to the hustle of Mumbai. We just make sure the quality of what we produce is consistent so the farmers and distributors are satisfied. It is a simple cycle of production, storage, and shipping. We just focus on our daily tasks and make sure the facility is running like it should be.
