Royal Artist

Over at Royal Artist, we stay pretty busy at our unit in the Kapadia Industrial Estate. We are at number 7, right off the Andheri-Kurla Road. This part of Mumbai is always moving fast, and we try to keep up with that pace. We aren't really the type to use big words or pretend we are something we're not. We are just a bunch of people who enjoy the creative side of work. The industrial estate is a bit old, but it has a good atmosphere for getting things done. We have piles of materials and sketches lying around most days. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. Being near the Kurla road means it’s easy for people to find us, though the traffic is always a bit of a headache. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. Usually, you’ll just find one of us working on a project or talking about how to finish a piece. We started small and we’ve stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. There is a lot of noise from the neighboring units, but we just turn on our own music and focus. It’s a practical way to live and work. We do the work, send it out, and then start on the next thing waiting for us. That is just how our days go.
