Rolta India Ltd

Setting up shop in Sector 1 of Khanda Colony was a choice we made a while back. We're in Flat B 403 at Tulsi Prerana. It’s a bit different working out of a residential-style building, but it works for what we do here at Rolta India Ltd. New Panvel is a bit quieter than the main city, though it's catching up fast. You can see the trains from not too far off. Most of the time it’s just us handling the day-to-day tasks. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks and computers and files stacked up. If you're coming over, you just have to tell the watchman at the gate where you're going. He knows us by now. We’ve had some good days and some really long ones too. The light in the afternoon is quite nice through the windows. It feels more like a home than an office sometimes, which helps when things get stressful. We aren't trying to impress anyone with flashy lights. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we order lunch from the place around the corner. It's a simple setup. We like it this way because it’s practical. No need for anything more. We've been in this spot for a bit and know the neighbors. It’s just how we operate. Most days we are just buried in paperwork and local logistics. It's steady work for the few of us here.
