Rocha Creations

Rocha Creations is located in Prabhadevi, not too far from the Siddhi Vinayak Mandir. Because we are so close to the temple, the area is always full of energy and people, especially on Tuesdays. Our workspace is quite modest, tucked away where we can focus on our sewing and designs. We spend most of our time dealing with different fabrics and trying to keep everything organized, which is harder than it looks. The sounds of the city are always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We are just a small group of people who enjoy making things. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us, so we just tell it like it is. Our tables are old and the chairs squeak a bit, but they get the job done. Sometimes we walk over toward the mandir during our lunch break just to get some air. Prabhadevi is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to know they’ve found the right place. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or heard about us from a friend. We take it one day at a time, making sure each piece is handled carefully before it goes out. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this big city. We just stay focused on the work.
