We are over in Wadala East, specifically in the MBPT Reynolds Colony at Tejas Nagar. The address is 29/710. If you know this area, you know it is pretty close to the port trust land. It is an older part of Mumbai and feels very different from the shiny towers you see in other districts. Life here moves at its own pace. My family has been around this part of town for a long time. I work out of this flat. It is definitely not fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but it is home and it is where I get my work done. You can hear the trains passing sometimes, and a nice breeze comes in off the water when the weather is right. Usually, the day is just spent on the phone or working on the computer. I do not have a big staff, just me and a couple of others who help out when things get a bit busy. Wadala is a good spot because you can get to the city or the suburbs without too much trouble, though the traffic is always a bit of a headache. The people in the colony are friendly, mostly workers from the port or their families. We drink a lot of chai and usually keep the door open. It is just how we do things here.
