You can find Reghui Gift Gallery right near the Spencers Hyper Market on Link Road in Malad West. It’s a good location because so many people come to the hyper market for their weekly shopping. We aren't part of the big store, we are just nearby. It’s a bit of a contrast, really. They have everything under one roof, and we just have our small selection of gifts and decorations. I think people like coming to us because it’s a bit more personal. I can usually help someone find a gift based on who they are buying for. We have a lot of soft toys and some ceramic mugs with different designs on them. The traffic on Link Road is always a nightmare, so the noise of honking is basically the background music for my whole day. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. The rent is a bit high because of the location, but we manage to stay afloat. We don't have any fancy displays or digital screens. It’s just shelves and more shelves. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power grid is acting up, but it doesn't stop us. We just want to provide a place where people can pick up a nice little something without it being a big production. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
