Raz Auto Centre

Our shop is number 42, located in Gala A on C S T Road in Kurla West. It is right opposite the Kurla Bus Depot, so there is always a lot of diesel smoke and the sound of buses pulling in and out. Raz Auto Centre is where we spend our days under cars or leaning over engines. It is a greasy job and our hands are rarely clean, but that is the work. We get all kinds of vehicles coming through, from old cars that barely run to newer ones that just need a quick fix. Being near the depot means it is always noisy, but we are used to it. We have been in this spot for quite a while and the locals know us. We do not have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People just drop their cars off and come back later, or they stand around and chat while we work. The space is a bit cramped with tools and spare parts everywhere, but we know where everything is. Kurla is a busy hub, so there is never a dull moment. We just focus on getting the engines running right. Sometimes we stay late when a job is tougher than we thought. It is honest work and we just take it one car at a time. The floor is stained with oil but we keep the tools in their places.
