Ravindra Gogawle

I am Ravindra Gogawle and my work is centered around the Jai Santosi Mata Viksh Mandal area in Ghatkopar. This part of Mumbai is very close-knit, and everyone seems to know everyone else's business. We don't have a giant office building with a sign on top. We work from a simple space that suits us just fine. It’s been a few years since I started this, and it grew out of just helping people around the neighborhood with their requirements. Now it’s a full-time thing. We don’t have a lot of rules or a strict dress code. As long as the work is finished and the people we help are satisfied, that is all that matters to me. Ghatkopar can be a bit overwhelming with the crowds and the narrow lanes, but it’s where we belong. Our day starts early and ends whenever the last task is done. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just practical work that needs a bit of patience and common sense. Sometimes things go wrong, like the power cutting out or someone getting stuck in traffic, but we just deal with it. We aren't trying to change the world. We’re just trying to be a reliable part of this community. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours and we are proud of the effort we put in every day.
