Rasulbhai Adamji & Sons has its roots on Gujar Street at number 42. This is an old part of the city, and our shop has been around through many changes in the neighborhood. We are a family-run business, as you can probably tell from the name. We don't have any fancy office furniture or glass partitions. It’s more about the wooden counters and the stacks of goods we have been selling for years. The street outside is narrow and always packed with handcarts and people walking. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here; we’ve all grown up together in a way. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We open up, tidy the place, and wait for the customers. Some are old friends who come by just to chat as much as to buy something. We deal in things that people have needed for generations. We don't see the need for big advertisements or a modern website. Word of mouth has always worked for us. The building itself shows its age, but it has character and a lot of history for our family. We take pride in just being here every day and doing what we do. It’s not complicated. We aren't looking to expand into some giant empire or change our ways too much. We just want to keep the family tradition going on Gujar Street for as long as we can.
