Ambica Traders

Ambica Traders is situated over in Vasai West. Specifically, we’re in the Laxmi Saw Mill Compound, right across from the Syndicate Bank on Station Road. It's a very busy street, especially with people coming from the station. The compound itself is a bit dusty because of the saw mill, but we’ve gotten used to it. We deal with trading various items. The shop stays open late most nights because that's when the customers are around. It can get pretty loud with the traffic outside and the mill working nearby. We keep our inventory stacked wherever we can find space. Sometimes it’s hard to find things quickly, but we know where everything is eventually. My uncle started this place a long time ago, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use some paint, but it works. People know they can find us easily because of the bank across the way. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my Tuesday mornings. It’s a lot of talking and checking lists. Vasai West has grown so much lately, but our little corner in the compound hasn't changed much at all. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. It's a simple way to make a living and it keeps us busy enough. The tea stall nearby makes the best ginger chai during the winter months.
