Deepika Sanitary N Marble

Deepika Sanitary N Marble is over here in Andheri East, right at Shop No. 1 on Hanjar Roads. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite Ambika Tower. It is a busy spot and the traffic can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We have been in this shop for a good while now. Most days start with us moving some of the marble pieces around or checking the sanitary stock we have in the back. It gets pretty dusty with all the stone work and people coming in and out all day. My clothes usually have some white dust on them by lunch time. We don't have a big fancy office, just the shop floor where everything is kept. Andheri East has changed a lot, but we are still here doing the same thing. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the lane because it is narrow near the tower. We just help them guide it in. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting tiles and making sure nothing cracks. We stay open until the sun goes down and sometimes a bit after that if there is work left. It is just a regular local business. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around Hanjar Road. It’s not a complicated life. We just open up, handle the inventory, and go home. We have a few samples on the floor that people can touch. It is better than looking at a screen.
