Rashtriya Chemicals And Fertilizers Ltd. has its office on the 10th floor of the Priyadarshini building. We are located right along the Eastern Express Highway in Sion. Being up on the 10th floor gives us a pretty good view of the traffic moving along the highway, which never seems to stop. It’s a big building, and we’ve been here for quite some time. Even though the company is a large one, our daily life in the office is pretty much like any other place. We deal with chemicals and fertilizers, so there is always a lot of technical data to look at. The commute to Sion can be a bit of a hassle because of the traffic, but the building is a well-known spot. We spend our days going through reports and attending meetings. The elevators can get crowded during lunch, so we often just stay at our desks or go to the canteen downstairs. It’s a lot of paperwork and digital filing. We have many departments here, but everyone mostly sticks to their own section. It’s a professional environment but it feels lived-in. There are stacks of files everywhere and the hum of the air conditioning is constant. We just focus on the manufacturing and distribution side of things. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time, making sure the shipments are on schedule and the farmers get what they need.
