Ranjitranjit

Ranjitranjit is run out of a small room in Kannamwar Nagar 2. It's Building Number 245, Room 9588 to be exact. Vikhroli East is a busy place, always something happening outside the window. We’ve been here in Mumbai for a long time. The space is a bit tight with all the stuff we have to keep, but it works for what we need. It's not a showroom or anything like that. Just a place where the work happens every day. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up and we have to use the stairs, which is quite a climb to get up here. Most people who come by are regulars from the neighborhood. We know most of the faces around 400 083. It’s a real working-class area and we fit right in. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big lights. We’d rather just focus on the tasks at hand. It gets loud sometimes with the traffic and the kids playing downstairs, but you get used to it. Mumbai life is fast, but inside our room, we try to keep things organized enough to get through the day's list. It's just a regular local business run by regular people. We don't have a big staff, just us making sure things get done. If you find the right building, the room number is right there on the door. It’s a simple setup but it’s ours.
