Rangeela Gifts

Rangeela Gifts is located at 365 Sai Chamber in Katha Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know how tight the lanes are around there. It’s a real challenge just getting to the shop sometimes with all the handcarts and the trucks unloading goods for the market. We are near Masjid Bunder Station, so there’s a constant flow of people moving back and forth. Our shop is inside the building, so it’s a little quieter than the street, but not by much. We handle a lot of different items, from small trinkets to larger gift boxes. Because it’s Katha Bazar, we do get some people looking for wholesale prices, but we also sell to anyone who just walks in off the street. The building itself is quite old and the elevator works when it wants to, so most people just use the stairs. We have boxes stacked up to the ceiling because space is so tight. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what a customer is looking for right away, but we eventually dig it out from somewhere. My family has been doing business in this area for a long time. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s home for us. We just keep the doors open and do our best every day.
